Scania 4 Series - Attractive timetables are not enough to move customers from car to bus. The journey itself must also be pleasant – from boarding convenience through on-board comfort to ease of exit.
With its Omni range, Scania places high emphasis on driver and passenger comfort. Scania buses are equipped with air suspension for superb ride comfort, effective sound insulation of the floor together with curved side windows ensure that the noise level inside the bus is kept at pleasant level.
The heating and ventilation system ensures a comfortable interior climate regardless of the outside climate and the slightly curved sides help to maximise the customer’s space inside the bus.
We offer vehicles that are easy to drive, with powerful drivelines, whilst smooth, responsive and easy to manoeuvre in tight spots. And we give to drivers an environment that suits their needs with ergonomic dashboards where controls and instruments are logically grouped within the driver’s reach.
Priority is also given to safety and environmental impact – all buses are made of an aluminium body and up to 90% recyclable. Our Omni buses correspond to the standards of side impact tests and rollover tests according to ECE R66.
